The Need for More Environment — Friendly Automotive Technologies

Activities Implemented Jointly

Various activities are undertaken jointly with other organizations on the basis of bilateral cooperation to reduce the amount of CO2 emitted from automobiles. For example, JAMA is currently working with the Thai Automotive Industry Association and several other organizations on a project aimed at reducing traffic congestion at certain key intersections in downtown Bangkok. The goal is to reduce CO2 emissions in those heavily-congested areas by improving traffic flow through various measures, including the more effective use of traffic signals. JAMA believes that improved traffic flow plays an important role in the reduction of CO2 emissions and intends to apply its expertise in this area at every possible opportunity.
